Gatwick Diamond

The Gatwick Diamond is at the Economic Heart of the South East. It has a thriving economy, it is a good place to live and work and it should remain that way. In early 2003 this initiative was started as a joint venture between the Economic Partnerships of Surrey and West Sussex to identify what could be done to improve the Diamond's economic performance over the next 10 years.

The Gatwick Diamond Initiative is a business led initiative focussing on the actions that business believes will make a real difference. It is about improving the whole economy. The work must ensure a healthy Gatwick, but the non-airport economy must remain healthy too.

The vision for the Gatwick Diamond is that by 2016 it will be a world class, internationally recognised business location achieving sustainable prosperity.
