Response to Redundancy
The new R2R (Response to Redundancy) project provides FREE fully funded support across the South East Region to employees and employers facing the challenges of redundancy. Their target is to reach and support 1251 individuals.  So what's on offer?  

 

Flexible, rapid client support:
- Focus on identifying and meeting individual training needs 
- Bespoke package agreed with employer
- Flexible timings and locations
- Different sessions for different staff groups/levels

 

Possible contents include:
- Executive Action Programme for managers- New Directions.
- Updated qualifications to meet current sector needs.
- Coping with redundancy.
- Considering next steps/new careers
- How to sell yourself and get a new job.
- Enhanced CV creation. 
- Interview techniques and practice.
- Job searching techniques.

 

Eligibility:
- Aged 18 years and above
- Male or Female
- Individuals under notice of redundancy
- Individuals who are newly redundant
- Unemployed 6 months or under
- South East Region - Hants/IOW, Kent & Medway, Thames Valley, Surrey, Sussex.

 

The R2R team can also offer seamless progression onto another fully funded project for individuals wanting to explore the option of self-employment further so they can have 1-1 business coaching support.
