GATWICK DIAMOND VISION INTO ACTION
The new operational structure to put the Gatwick Diamond vision into action is taking shape.  The new Strategic Overview Group, under the chairmanship of KPMG's Paul Gresham, will meet for the first time at the end of January.

This body will set strategy and monitor the performance of the various initiatives to be led on a day to day basis by the new Management Group, chaired by David Butcher of FD Outsourcing. 

Three operational working groups, INSPIRE, dealing with skills innovation and smart growth, CONNECT, transport and connectivity and GROW, infrastructure and sites, have already started work under the new structure.  A Marketing and Communications Group, which will promote the sub region and the work of the three operational groups, is already active.

Paul Gresham comments:  "I'm really glad to be working with David Butcher and the other members to drive forward the business and public sector partnership which is the Gatwick Diamond."
