NEW HOMES:

GATWICK SKILLS CENTRE - The very successful Gatwick Skills Centre bringing training to all airport companies on site at the airport now has a new home.  Originally launched in 2006, the project promoted by WSEP and backed by Central Sussex College, SEEDA, LSC and BAA. The Skills Centre has already helped 650 people to upskill and the new facility brings two extra training rooms, office space, break out and job search areas.  BAA and Central Sussex College have also agreed to extend their agreement to operate the Centre for a further five years.

EUROP-ASSIST UK - The UK arm of global travel insurance company Europe Assistance, Europ-Assist has combined all UK headquarter and operational activity in one office in Haywards Heath which will also offer additional expansion space for the company.  Up to 150 extra jobs may be on offer in the future as the UK operations develop.
